Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our State Government & Education team in Savannah, GA. This candidate can also sit in Peachtree Corners, GA; Augusta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; or Columbia, SC, and must be open to travel to the Savannah area. The ideal candidate has 15-20 years of Architecture and project management experience and seeks to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this role, you will lead project management activities such as project scoping and budgeting for proposals, building schedules, tracking hours, budget, and schedule adherence, communicating with clients, resolving issues, submitting deliverables, and project closeout. You will establish strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and management/stakeholders. You will also mentor junior to mid-level project managers. Responsibilities
Lead project management activities including scoping, budgeting, and proposals. Develop schedules and track hours, budgets, and schedule adherence. Communicate with clients, resolve issues, and supervise deliverable submittals and project closeout. Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, and management/stakeholders. Mentor and train junior to mid-level project managers. Manage design projects across multiple markets and geographies to broaden knowledge and skills in project management. Operate as an independent self-starter, moving efficiently through project stages. Qualifications
BArch or MArch in Architecture from an accredited college or university 10+ years of Architecture and Project Management experience (preferably in an A/E/C consulting environment) Experience in Higher Education is preferred Must be a licensed Architect Experience with relevant software Ability to work well within a team, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and be self-motivated to produce high-quality work Willingness to learn and grow professionally About Pond
