Clinical Assistant / Clinical Associate Professor
Join the University of Florida College of Nursing as a Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor. We are seeking applicants holding a DNP or PhD in nursing with a background in psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, and/or family health nursing to fill full-time, twelve-month, 1.0 FTE non-tenure track faculty positions. This position is primarily focused on teaching in the DNP program and teaching specialty courses in the BSN program. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pediatric primary care and be able to maintain clinical expertise, including credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Teach didactic and clinical courses in the DNP and BSN programs Collaborate with faculty teaching teams to ensure excellence in course delivery Maintain clinical expertise, including credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities Engage in professional development to enhance teaching Participate in curriculum development to enhance DNP and BSN programs and maintain excellent student outcomes Scholarship: Collaborate and/or lead scholarship related to clinical expertise or nursing education Service: Provide professional service to college, university and profession commensurate with rank Practice: Engage in clinical practice commensurate with clinical credentials The University of Florida College of Nursing is dedicated to high-quality programs of education, research, patient care, and public service. Minimum Requirements: DNP from an accredited institution by date of hire For applicants holding EdD or PhD in nursing, master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution Recent clinical experience RN or APRN license.
