The Department of Computer Science at Manhattan University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach two sections of “ Object-Oriented Design with Java ” (an undergraduate course for Computer Science sophomores familiar with object-oriented programming in C++) for Fall 2024 & 2025. The scheduled class times are: Tuesday and Friday 11:00am-12:15pm and 12:30pm-1:45pm This schedule is fixed and cannot be changed. Candidate Requirements:
Minimum qualification: MS in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred qualifications: Teaching experience in higher education (especially teaching Java to Computer Science majors) or relevant industry experience. Compensation:
Pay rates for one undergraduate 3-credit section: Adjunct Associate Professor (PhD): $4,726.94 Adjunct Professor (PhD): $4,875.13 Application Process:
