Location: USA - Lancaster, 3701 Midpoint Drive Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Manager, Health & Safety, SW Region - 101044 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The Regional Safety Manager leads operations in areas of injury prevention, task assessment, safety communications, hazardous materials storage and transportation compliance, and regulatory compliance. This role develops, implements, and manages company safety programs, policies and procedures to create a safe, secure, healthy, and accident-free work environment. The role ensures that Health, Safety & Environmental Policies & Procedures are specific to the DSV Solutions environment and that sites comply with statutory requirements where applicable (including, but not limited to, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001:2004). Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert and consultant on highly technical HSE topics with site management teams, corporate HSE, external regulatory agencies, and talent development; provide strategic leadership for site-level staff to build sustainable loss-improvement processes and ensure program effectiveness. Promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company policies and compliance requirements. Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on RFPs, new sites, design processes; propose and implement risk mitigation measures within the region. Manage and mentor a regional team of health and safety professionals. Partner with Facility Leadership and act as the point of contact for safety-related matters; ensure safe work practices. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions; follow up to ensure actions are completed. Represent DSV to OSHA, EPA, FDA or other regulatory agencies; address issues regionally as needed. Foster teamwork and pride in the company safety program; ensure compliance with local Health, Safety & Environmental laws and customer requirements (including PIT Certification, First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Prevention, Life Safety, Hazard Communication, LOTO, Fall Protection, site inspections, and other OSHA training). Manage reporting such as EPA, STEERS, Tier II where required. Assist in incident/HSE complaint investigations; review accidents and near-misses and recommend corrective actions with site safety designees. Coordinate with site safety managers to align Health, Safety & Environment plans with Quality Management System policies. Ensure implementation of emergency procedures (EAP & BCP); coordinate and deliver HSE training regionally as required. Maintain risk registers, including Routine/Non-routine risks, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and Risk Assessments. Support publication of the year-end OSHA 300 log for applicable regions and assist in OSHA surveys; assist in Workers’ Compensation administrative tasks. Prepare and maintain documents for proper storage and handling of Hazardous Materials; ensure compliance with EPA/DOT regulations (HAZWOPER and Hazardous Communication). Oversee transportation of hazardous materials in compliance with EPA & DOT/PHMSA/IMDG/IATA regulations; develop and implement training for shipping, handling, and storage of Hazardous Materials. Travel up to 30% within the United States as required. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a medium to large warehouse or manufacturing facility in an HSE management capacity supervising 2 or more employees. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards in the United States. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety programs that drive tangible improvements. Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are highly desirable. Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office. English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal); bilingual preferred. Ability to travel up to 30% (air and ground). Skills & Competencies

The role will operate in a distribution center setting with exposure to temperature changes, moisture, noise, and moving equipment; PPE required as appropriate. Physical demands include lifting up to 70 lbs, and performing tasks that require reaching, bending, and climbing.
