The Gastro-Intestinal Oncology Section in the Department of Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking to add an oncologist at the Assistant to Full Professor level to join Dr. Renuka Iyer and her dedicated team of oncologists. The team is well established and collegial and supported by dedicated NPs/PAs and a team of GI research coordinators and clinical care coordinators. You will have access to a solid infrastructure to conduct trials, write grants and collaborate with immunotherapy core scientists in developing novel targeted therapies. Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology and have an interest in translational research or an academic clinical practice/educator track. Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in GI oncology as a member of a well-established team under Dr. Renuka Iyer. Engage in translational research or an academic clinical practice/educator track as part of an academic appointment. Participate in clinical trials and grant writing; collaborate with the immunotherapy core scientists to develop novel targeted therapies. Collaborate with NPs/PAs and GI research coordinators and clinical care coordinators to support trial execution and patient care. Contribute to the department's academic mission and educational activities. Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology. License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology. Interest in GI malignancies is preferred. Note
