Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact software projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and experience in coaching teams to adopt Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Guide and coach the team on Scrum and Agile best practices.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment to maximize productivity.
Work with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
Monitor sprint progress and ensure deliverables are met on time.
Help teams adopt Agile frameworks and continuously improve processes.
Track and report key metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
Shield the team from external interference and distractions.
Foster transparency, communication, and trust within and across teams.
Support the team in achieving a high level of performance and quality.
Job Skills/Qualification Requirements
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Rally).
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Preferred Skills
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or higher).
Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
Background in software development or technical project management.
Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile testing methodologies.
