Position: Long-Term Care Provider CHOP Specialist (Medicaid Health Systems Specialist) at Ohio Department of Medicaid.

Job Overview As the Long-Term Care Provider CHOP Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Initiating Change of Operator (CHOP) workflows in the Provider Network Management portal for existing Nursing Facility providers
Processing Change of Operator (CHOP) applications in the Provider Network Management portal for entering (new) Nursing Facility providers
Assist other LTC Provider Management Specialists with processing Long-Term Care provider (initial, revalidation, and updates) applications in the Provider Network Management portal and other system updates
Researching and responding to inquiries from attorneys, the provider community, internal ODM staff, and external partners and stakeholders
The preferred candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work and interactions. The preferred candidate will be eager to learn, desire to gain knowledge through research, and possess the ability to adapt to change when necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health or statistics; additional 24 months experience specific to subject area of which 12 months experience in use of spreadsheet and database software.
Or 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst, (65291).
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required.
