Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
The Sr. ServiceNow Developer will focus on developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions related to CMDB, CSDM, ITAM, ITSM, and integrations, providing necessary support for process initiatives and cross-functioning systems. This individual will collaborate directly with the team and stakeholders to implement new ServiceNow features to support the Configuration Management and ITAM capabilities to drive automation.
Responsibilities
Develops, integrates, and implements ServiceNow solutions including workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components.
Participates in Agile-related meetings, including User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives.
Designs, codes, debugs, documents, deploys, and maintains solutions efficiently.
Designs, develops, and maintains the CMDB database schema, tables, and attributes.
Performs unit testing for developed features, including edge cases.
Supports onboarding of complex technologies in the CMDB, ensuring accurate inventory, dependencies, and lifecycle data.
Performs data load, mapping, and transforming of external data for feeds.
Coordinates application and platform upgrades and migrations for ITAM/Configuration Management modules.
Works with the CSDM Lead and Data Assurance Lead to maximize CMDB value, support standards, data quality, and usage.
Participates in SDLC processes, defining user stories, roadmaps, and supporting continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years in Analytics, Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience.
Preferred education: Bachelor's in IT or relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferred skills include:
8+ years in IT, with 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience including CMDB and ITAM.
Experience with ServiceNow platform projects, Agile, Jira, scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), PowerShell, Python.
Certifications like ServiceNow CSA and CAD are preferred.
Knowledge of SQL, GraphQL, and ITIL certifications are a plus.
This job posting is active for 45 days from the initial posting date. The salary range is approximately $102,000 to $155,000, depending on skills and experience, with potential additional incentives and benefits.
