Key responsibilities
AI solution and technology sales focused on US Higher Ed / K12 institutions Engage customer key stakeholders in providing AI vision and direction Consultative Generative AI engagements around student, faculty, research and administrative functions to drive value and mission outcomes Generate a plan to ensure broad Generative AI penetration into strategic AWS accounts Land new AI workloads in existing AWS accounts and accelerate consumption for key accounts with ramping Data & AI spend Dive deep on engaged opportunities and set forth a prescriptive plan to accelerate delivery of a comprehensive native solution Run localized enablement sessions, curated sales assets, leveraging customer propensity buy signals Support sales plays and 1: M motions for region / domain Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI subject matter expert, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor Provide leadership and guidance to sales teams, as a subject matter expert Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field 10+ years of direct experience in technology sales, business development, or technical sales roles 5+ years of direct experience working with AI/ML, analytics, or cloud-based data platforms Experience selling into or building solutions for US Higher Ed / K12 institutions Preferred Qualifications
Technical Acumen in AI/ML: Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts including GenAI, LLMs, model lifecycle, data strategy, and AI/ML infrastructure. Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure AI), MLOps tools, and cloud-native AI architectures Understanding of industry-specific AI use cases and Responsible AI considerations Consultative sales experience: Ability to translate customer problems into AI solution strategies Experience in large enterprise customer facing roles MBA or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Business About The Team
