Cortex is the enterprise Internal Developer Portal built to accelerate the path to engineering excellence. Customers include Blackstone, Xero, and Fanatics. Cortex helps engineering teams drive progress to goals, optimize productivity, reduce technical debt, and build efficient software and teams with a single interface for all tools, templates, and tasks. We’re fully remote and welcome candidates from anywhere in the US. We host all-company offsites a few times a year. The Team

Account Executive, Enterprise — join our high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding existing accounts. You’ll collaborate with sales, engineering, and executives to understand complex customer needs and demonstrate Cortex’s value. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in the enterprise market. Identify and qualify enterprise leads, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Conduct discovery to understand customer challenges, goals, and pain points; propose tailored solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to support the sales process and ensure customer success. Deliver compelling product demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications
5+ years in enterprise B2B software sales with a track record of selling to developers (ideally in developer tools or SaaS). Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, stakeholder management, and buying processes. Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to work independently and contribute to ambitious revenue goals. Bonus: experience with MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies.
