Position Overview
The Territory Account Sales Executive expands new business and renewals in assigned US Federal Government accounts to exceed financial and company goals. This individual contributor role is assigned a sales quota, with performance measured through quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling. You will report to an Industry Sales Leader and collaborate with technical specialists, customer success teams, business development representatives, account-based marketing, partner management, and external channel partners.
Responsibilities
Create new business by creatively expanding your assigned accounts.
Manage renewals in each of your assigned accounts.
Evaluate and prepare business plans for each account.
Assess customer profiles, craft value messaging, and implement account plans.
Develop relationships within accounts, including at the executive level.
Translate customer challenges into unique value propositions.
Ensure the Autodesk team delivers value by executing the account plan.
Grow opportunity pipelines within accounts, using sound call planning to achieve goals and position Autodesk as a trusted advisor.
Manage the entire sales process, including business development, prospecting, opportunity qualification, contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support, primarily at customer locations.
Negotiate deals at multiple levels within accounts, focusing on senior/executive management and enterprise negotiations.
Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts of new and renewal business.
Collaborate with channel partners to understand their business, adopt programs to increase revenue, and expand relationships.
Provide feedback to product, industry, and marketing teams to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of quota-achieving sales experience with on-premise, SaaS, or hybrid models.
Experience selling to US Federal Government accounts.
Enterprise software sales experience through direct and indirect channels.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing industries.
Ability to work remotely in the US, preferably in DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia.

Salary Transparency
Starting OTE for US sales roles ranges from $221,300 to $320,320, comprising base salary plus commissions. Offers depend on experience and location, with additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
