Overview
Regional Dealer Sales Manager- Building Materials. Remote regional sales role with 50% travel to meet with dealers. Based in the Southwest US. Responsible for managing and leading our sales team, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners in the building materials industry. This position is an outside sales role with travel to dealers and is ideal for someone passionate about sales, leadership, and the building materials industry. Prior experience selling building materials to dealers is required. You will work with a variety of building materials, including shutters and doors. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of compensation elements including a base salary and lucrative commissions. Salary range listed as $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. Benefits include a 401k with company match up to 10%, profit sharing, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives. Manage, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales targets. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry professionals, and partners. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive sales growth. Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise. Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the building materials or manufacturing industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. In-depth knowledge of the building materials industry, including shutters and doors. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and sales analytics tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Willingness to travel as required, approximately 50% travel. Benefits
