The Private Client Banker (PCB) is part of the Key Private Client Program and focuses on the entire client relationship with a plan-based approach to financial advice. As a PCB, you will deliver and refer appropriate financial solutions to KeyBank\'s client base with up to $2M in investable assets. PCBs assess financial needs, gather and document client data, and offer appropriate products and services. They identify products and services to meet client needs and refer to appropriate sales professionals in Retail, Key Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage or Business Banking. Embodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and recognizing the impact on their day, personally, professionally, and financially. Listen for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and provide effective and customized financial wellness recommendations; deliver solutions through referring investment and insurance products. Consistently attain individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations. Build a client referral pipeline, identify and develop internal and external centers of influence, prospect diligently, and document calling efforts. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of private client products and services and competitive offerings to enable meaningful financial wellness conversations. Open personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small business, deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending, CDs, etc.). Develop strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners to acquire and deepen client relationships; manage internal and external centers of influence. Ensure compliance with operational, risk, security, and audit procedures and proper documentation of client interactions. Support branch operations, including assisting with client transactions on the Teller line as needed. Participate in and occasionally facilitate morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs. Perform other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice. Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required Bachelor\'s Degree preferred Experience
Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in insurance and investment products (required). Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients (tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, networking) (required). Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objections, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of helping (preferred). Interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly (required). Ability to influence business partners and leverage centers of influence (required). Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows, Word, Excel, etc.) (required). Working knowledge of digital technology and ability to educate clients on digital platforms within Key (required). Licenses & Certifications
