Senior Accountant

GHJ Search and Staffing, the recruitment division of GHJ—an prominent national accounting and advisory firm—has partnered with a technology company to identify a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, including contract review, revenue analysis, and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP. Perform thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records. Promptly and professionally respond to customer invoicing inquiries, providing clear and courteous communication to resolve issues and maintain high client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal and external auditors by gathering documentation and providing support throughout financial statement audits, ensuring a smooth and compliant audit process. Assist in the execution of month-end and year-end close procedures by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely reporting in accordance with financial deadlines. Process payroll with accuracy and discretion, ensuring timely compensation while maintaining full compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
