Overview
Senior Corporate Accountant role at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. We are seeking a candidate to manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, solve problems analytically, and ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. You will build collaborative relationships throughout the organization to help drive the success of our Accounting team. Responsibilities
Drive period-end close activities including account reconciliations and journal entries. Review period-end results and work closely with the Finance department to evaluate variances, while assisting with accurate forecasting. Analyze SG&A accounts and partner with the business to ensure alignment on actuals vs. forecast. Support manual accruals process related to expenses such as late AP, Benefits, and T&E. Partner with internal and external audit to ensure compliance with internal control processes. Identify and introduce new ideas and solutions to create efficiencies and streamline processes. Support process improvements and reporting initiatives as we ramp into a new ERP system. Drive special projects, as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong written and verbal communication skills Technical accounting knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task and good problem-solving capabilities CPA not required, but preferred Big 4 experience not required, but preferred Who You Are
