Conduct thorough reviews of federal and state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals, primarily focusing on corporate engagements, including consolidated federal and combined state tax returns. Review tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee the review of estimated tax payments and extensions. Conduct and review research on complex tax issues to provide informed recommendations. Lead tax engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely execution of tax compliance, planning, and provision projects. Mentor and coach junior staff, providing direct and constructive feedback to foster growth and development. Manage a team effectively to meet client needs and internal expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling billing, realization, and collections. Develop and implement a strategy for expanding the practice, including networking, acquiring new clients, and growing existing client relationships. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation. CPA or Bar License required. 8+ years of relevant, recent tax experience. Proficiency in reviewing and preparing ASC 740 tax provisions.
