Overview
Risk Management Analyst at ND Health and Human Services in Bismarck, ND. This is a great opportunity for a motivated person to make a real difference for our organization and the people we serve.
Responsibilities
Identify and address risks that could affect the agency's operations, procedures, or environment. Conduct audits and investigations of employee incidents or accidents and create reports based on those findings to analyze them for possible trends and/or areas for improvement.
Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, policies, and systems to ensure the safety of staff, clients, and vendors. Provide training to others on these policies and procedures.
Thrive by understanding environmental health and safety rules and procedures, communicate clearly, work well with others, train and motivate people in a fast-paced setting, build trust with stakeholders, and demonstrate how research supports business objectives. Work on your own and manage tasks effectively; use risk management, contingency planning, and incident reporting systems.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in risk management, emergency management, environmental health and safety or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience that requires expert knowledge in safety regulations, policies and procedures, risk assessment, and incident reporting systems. Government or healthcare field is preferred. OR
A bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with professional safety/risk management certifications and a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience that requires expert knowledge in safety regulations, policies and procedures, risk assessment, and incident reporting systems. Government or healthcare field is preferred. OR
A minimum of 6 years of professional work experience with an associate's degree in risk management, emergency management, environmental health and safety or a related field; Government or healthcare field is preferred.
This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Salary Bismarck, ND $71,460 - $102,690
