The Senior Staff Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the accounting operations of Parallel ENT and Allergy. This role involves managing month-end close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance with GAAP standards, while also assisting with audits, acquisitions, and process improvements. The Senior Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with the Corporate Controller, practice operations, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and reliable financial information that supports both day-to-day decision making and long-term organizational growth. This is a hands-on position well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity healthcare environment. Responsibilities

Process month-end journal entries, eliminations, and allocations. Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Record payroll-related journal entries for wages, bonuses, taxes, and benefits; reconcile payroll and benefits liability accounts monthly. Assist with internal control documentation, monitoring, and review. Develop and implement accounting procedures, recommending process improvements as needed. Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions, including reviewing financial information, converting data into the general ledger system, and preparing financial statements. Collaborate with management to ensure consolidation requirements meet statutory accounting principles. Provide information and schedules for the annual financial audit. Research and interpret financial data to respond to accounting and operational questions. Prepare ad hoc reports and support special projects as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of organizational and financial information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field required. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with US GAAP preferred; public accounting experience a plus. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large dataset management). Demonstrated ability to research and resolve discrepancies, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Experience with NetSuite and/or Paycom preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical and operational issues clearly to stakeholders. Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments. High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Adaptable and flexible in response to evolving organizational needs. Performance Requirements
