Job Description: The Fixed Assets Accountant position will work on Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Internal Control, and provide General Accounting Supervisory back-up support. Responsibilities include serving as the Staff Authority on Fixed Assets, investigating and analyzing monthly and year-end reconciliations, and ensuring Inventory Change Form 130 is received for all road and non-road equipment additions, deletions, and transfer. Minimum Qualifications: 8 years of experience, including 4 years of professional auditing or accounting experience and 4 years of professional accounting experience with at least 1 year of fixed asset accounting experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience totaling 8 years, or a Colorado CPA License with 6 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated success with duties listed, years of State service experience, highest work/personal ethics and integrity, Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, and comprehensive knowledge of general accounting practices and standards.
