Our client is currently seeking a Global Travel & Expense Manager Work arrangement:

This is hybrid, 3 days a week onsite in either Wayne, PA or Blandon, PA (depending on which is closest to you)

Position summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Global Travel & Expense Manager with a strong background in leading Travel & Expense (T&E) processes in a global environment. The individual must have auditing experience related to T&E and a deep passion to lead and optimize global T&E processes. This role combines strategic oversight of the end-to-end T&E process with operational ownership, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional user experience. You will serve as the bridge between finance, audit, and technical teams to manage policy governance, process optimization, spend optimization and day-to-day Travel & Expense operations globally.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the global travel & expense management business process, from policy creation to reimbursement, auditing, and reporting. Develop, maintain and regularly update documentation for all T&E-related policies and procedures in line with business and regulatory changes; partnering with compliance, internal audit, and legal teams Identify and resolve bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the travel & expense process, reporting and reimbursement workflow. Identify opportunities for spend optimization through expense policy compliance, travel vendor compliance; conduct ongoing reviews Act as the primary business owner of T&E platforms (SAP Concur, Egencia), ensuring system configuration, data integrity aligns with business process and objectives Collaborate with IT and SAP Concur support teams to manage upgrades, integrations, issue resolution, and implementation of new features and implementation of new locations. Design, deploy, and maintain expense types, workflows, approval hierarchies, and audit rules that align with organizational needs. Define KPIs for the expense management process (i.e. processing time, error rates, compliance rates). Create custom Cognos reports to monitor system usage, compliance, and performance KPI metrics to identify areas for automation and efficiency. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training

Act as the primary contact with SAP Concur & Egencia for support, product enhancements. Serve as the go-to expert and liaison for business users, finance teams, auditors, and technical teams. Provide training, support, and communications to internal users to drive adoption and compliance with expense policies and system best practices. Collect user feedback and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. Foster a culture of accountability regarding expense reporting. Generate reports and provide insights to leadership on spending patterns and opportunities for cost savings. Audit & Compliance

Lead audit processes for T&E transactions, including the development and execution of automated audit rules within SAP Concur. Implement and enforce controls to prevent fraud, errors, and policy violations. Perform periodic reviews of expense reports to ensure policy adherence, detect anomalies, and enforce internal controls. Generate audit-ready documentation and collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and internal control audits. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA, CIA, or CFE a plus. 5–8 years of experience in travel & expense management, financial auditing, or compliance roles. 3+ years of experience managing T&E with SAP Concur and other Travel platforms (Egencia, BCD, Amex etc.) Strong knowledge of corporate travel & expense (T&E) policies and global compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and work with global stakeholders. Proficiency in report creation and data analysis (e.g., Cognos, Power BI, Excel). Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills

Experience with global rollouts of SAP Concur or similar expense platforms. Managing and deploying Travel solutions in different markets. Familiarity with integration points between SAP Concur, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and Travel platforms. Change management and training experience in a multinational environment. Contact:
