We are seeking outstanding investigators conducting basic or translational research focused on neurobiological processes and/or therapeutic approaches aimed at improving symptoms or altering the course of disease. Candidates with research programs centered on aging, neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold an M.D., Ph.D., or both. For the Associate Professor level, established extramural funding is required. For the Assistant Professor level, a clear plan for developing and sustaining an innovative, externally funded research program (e.g., through federal agencies, private foundations or industry contracts) should be demonstrated. The department seeks candidates whose research complements strengths in circuit-level neuroscience, sensory neuroscience and spinal cord injury research, and who thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience, qualifications and funding. Responsibilities
