We are seeking an experienced, highly capable finance leader to join our growing team. This position will take direct ownership of major portions of our finance operations and provide senior-level oversight for several new and existing business units.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional with deep technical accounting skills, strong leadership abilities, and the versatility to manage diverse business models, international operations, outsourced accounting partners, and complex, multi-entity environments. You will help us improve and optimize our ERP system so that it works for us—not the other way around—driving automation, productivity, and better insights.
This role will work directly with business unit presidents to develop forecasts, deliver timely budget vs. actual reporting, create actionable dashboards and KPIs, and ensure that leaders can see, understand, and act on how their business is performing by the numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Core Finance Leadership & Operations
Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance activities for assigned business units and entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting standards. Manage and direct outsourced accounting partners, setting expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables. Manage general ledger integrity, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple entities and currencies. Partner with the VP of Finance to strengthen internal controls, refine accounting processes, and improve financial systems. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff assigned to your scope of responsibility. Collaborate with the CFO on strategic finance initiatives and company-wide reporting. Business Unit Support & Performance Management
Partner with business unit presidents to develop budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections aligned to business goals. Prepare and present budget vs. actual performance reporting, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and other metrics-driven reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making at all levels. Work closely with operations teams to drive accountability, profitability, and operational efficiency. ERP Optimization & Process Improvement
Serve as a champion for ERP (NetSuite) optimization—streamlining workflows, automating processes, and integrating data sources to reduce manual work and improve decision support. Partner with IT, finance, and business units to ensure the ERP system supports evolving business needs across all entities. European Data Center Construction Staff Augmentation Business
Lead finance operations for our new EMEA entity, including multi-currency accounting, foreign bank account reconciliations, and consolidations. Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple European jurisdictions. Implement best practices for professional services AR, AP, job cost accounting, and project profitability analysis. US Equipment Rental Business
Establish accounting processes for equipment finance/leasing transactions, asset capitalization, depreciation, and impairment review. Oversee revenue recognition for equipment rentals, including lease accounting standards compliance (ASC 842 or IFRS 16 as applicable). Manage warehouse-related accounting, asset tracking, and maintenance schedule reporting. Coordinate with operations to monitor utilization and optimize asset ROI. Data Center Site Development Project Consultancy
Oversee project-based accounting for land feasibility and readiness studies. Manage fixed-cost contract revenue recognition and outsourcing/vendor payment schedules. Ensure accurate job cost tracking and integration of real estate-related financial considerations. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred). Experience: 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles in multi-entity and multi-currency environments. Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, with IFRS and European statutory accounting experience strongly preferred. Experience managing outsourced accounting partners and optimizing ERP systems for scalability and insight generation. Background in professional services accounting, project accounting, and/or construction accounting. Experience with equipment leasing/rental accounting and revenue recognition. Exposure to real estate project feasibility and development accounting is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP system, with a proven track record of driving process automation and system improvements. Advanced Excel skills for modeling, reconciliation, and data analysis. Experience with KPI design, dashboard creation, and metrics-driven performance management. Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations. Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence, capable of mentoring staff and managing through change.
