Overview Trust Officer Opportunity in Trust Services. Premier Trust – Trust Officer. Location: 2270 Corporate Circle Suite 200, Henderson, NV 89074. Schedule: Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants must be willing to work this schedule. Role Type: Full-time. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year + annual bonus. Actual compensation offered will be determined individually based on factors including location, skills, experience, and education. Summary We are seeking a Trust Officer to join Premier Trust, a member of Osaic. The Trust Officer administers assigned accounts and represents the company in business activities with customers, outside professionals, and beneficiaries. This position may have discretionary distribution approval based on Board approved levels. The Trust Officer ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations. The position may supervise one or more employee(s).

Responsibilities

Administrates accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing instrument and aligned with the needs of principals, beneficiaries, and remaindermen

Contact or correspond with persons, agencies, and organizations with an interest in any aspect of an account

Maintain awareness of new business opportunities and advise or consult with other officers on details of proposed plans; communicate information to marketing administrator for follow up

Assist in analyzing fund needs according to trust conditions and beneficiary needs

Coordinate and review preparation for filing federal and state tax returns for trusts

Establish and maintain client data

Initiate and/or assist in funding new accounts

Interact with subordinates, peers, and functional managers

Operate computer programs to obtain and process data

Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data

Answer questions via telephone and email; direct inquiries to proper personnel

Ensure compliance with company policies, state laws, and regulations

Comply with BSA, AML, and USA PATRIOT Act policies; verify identities and maintain records; consult lists of known terrorists before opening accounts

Follow compliance policies and procedures; ensure proper risk-rating of customers per the Customer Identification Program

Report any suspected suspicious activity to the BSA/Compliance Officer

Participate in required annual BSA/AML/OFAC and Compliance training

Maintain punctuality and attendance; participate in required meetings and trainings

Demonstrate teamwork, openness to others’ views, and constructive feedback

Understand business implications of decisions and align work with strategic goals

Treat people with respect and integrity; uphold organizational values

Adhere to EEO policies; promote diversity and provide a harassment-free environment

Follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks accurately and on time

Perform duties safely and comply with OSHA standards

Prepare initial and annual trust reviews in a timely manner

Review system ticklers and take timely action

Prepare and submit discretionary requests to the TAC committee

Focus on personal goals established annually and stay current with regulatory rulings; enroll in CE courses if applicable

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED with significant practical experience in financial services, specifically in trust administration, will be considered

Basic Requirements

Two or more years of related experience in the trust industry and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong knowledge of state trust compliance regulations, policies, products, services, and operational policies

Proficiency with PC operations, word processing, spreadsheets (e.g., Word, Excel)

Typing skills to meet production needs

Intermediate math skills and ability to interpret data and graphs

Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Effective organizational and time management skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Current driver’s license and vehicle if travel is required

Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

Ability to delegate tasks when necessary

Ability to handle routine to complex problems with multiple variables

Preferred Requirements

Licenses Preferred: Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA)
