Overview

The Ramanan lab at the Salk Institute is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study how immune cells influence mammary gland health during pregnancy and lactation. Our multi-disciplinary approach uses single-cell techniques, metabolomics, and metagenomics in mouse models to understand how immune cell changes in the mammary gland can impact maternal health. Responsibilities

Work with mouse models of injury and infection to study how immune cells interact with epithelial cells in the mammary gland during pregnancy and lactation. Focus on tissue immunology with emphasis on T cells; collaborate with a diverse and committed team. Apply immunology and molecular techniques, analyze data, and contribute to manuscript preparation and dissemination of findings. Qualifications

The full postdoctoral salary range for wet lab opportunities is $70,000-$77,500. This range reflects the scope, responsibilities, and qualifications of the position, and external market considerations. Application Instructions
