Role Summary As an usher, greeter or ticket taker, you help to ensure safety, keep the venue clean, and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show.
Responsibilities
Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry, answer questions, assist with locating seats and examine tickets for entry to various seat levels.
Maintain venue safety, cleanliness and presentation.
Resolve guest complaints or problems.
Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
Assist guests with special needs, such as seating accommodations.
Participate in recycling and sustainability efforts and support the venue’s CARE values.
Guide guests to exits or provide instructions in case of emergency.
Assist in restricted areas if required; verify staff credentials when needed.
Support the venue’s sustainability program and educate fans about efforts.
Assist with post-show cleanup and equipment storage as required.
Provide directions inside or outside the venue and ensure guests are enjoying the show safely.
Additional tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Sound judgment, tact and diplomacy
Constant walking; ability to climb stairs; occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 25 lbs+
Compensation The Expected Compensation For This Position Is $16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
Pay is based on factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
