Location New York City, NY Duties Advise clients on a range of leveraged finance transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and other complex lending matters Represent borrowers, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions in domestic and cross-border transactions Draft and negotiate credit agreements, commitment letters, security documents, and related documentation Support corporate clients in connection with M&A and restructuring transactions involving debt financing Collaborate with partners and multidisciplinary teams to provide strategic legal advice Conduct legal research, due diligence, and risk assessments related to finance agreements Requirements 4 to 8 years of experience practicing in leveraged finance or related areas of law Experience with sponsor-backed leveraged finance transactions (preferred) Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and drafting skills for client interaction and negotiations Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school Certifications Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of the office location or ability to obtain admission promptly Skills Advanced knowledge of leveraged finance structures and credit documentation Ability to analyze and manage complex legal and commercial issues Proficiency in legal drafting and transaction structuring Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills Team-oriented with a commitment to excellence and responsiveness 401(k) and retirement planning options Paid time off and holidays Continuing legal education (CLE) and professional development support Opportunities for advancement within a globally recognized law firm Company info BCG Attorney Search 125 Park Avenue, 25th floor New York New York United States 10017 Phone :
