Summary
In this customer-facing role, the Relationship Banker II will provide exceptional customer care at a full-service Cape Cod 5 Retail Banking Center location, assisting with daily transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Develop rapport with customers, greet by name, understand account types, and display a caring attitude (GUEST philosophy).
Provide excellent customer care for transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution following Bank policies.
Perform banking transactions such as deposits, loan payments, check cashing, and issuing money orders.
Safeguard customer trust by maintaining confidentiality.
Comply with all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Complete assigned learning activities timely.
Participate in meetings and coaching sessions.
Assist with opening and closing banking center activities.
Advise and open deposit accounts and consumer loans to meet customer needs proactively.
Identify customer financial needs and refer to other business lines as appropriate.
Maintain knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
Assist with loan applications for home equity and other consumer loans.
Participate in community groups and events.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education, Certifications
Associate's degree preferred; willingness to pursue higher education; Bachelor's preferred.
Eligible for NMLS registration.
Eligible for Notary Public commission.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum six months retail banking experience.
Experience with processing transactions, account openings, and platform services.
Customer relationship building experience.
Cyber security awareness.
Strong communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate core competencies for Relationship Banker II level.

Working Conditions Primarily in a climate-controlled office environment; some travel to remote locations; environmental conditions are standard for banking settings.
