Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to find our client’s next Controller. The Controller will lead all day-to-day finance and accounting operations, financial reporting and will be a key member in strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow. Compensation
Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Location
Shawnee, KS Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance needs, including the period close process and general ledger activity Prepare financial statements and financial reporting, including grants, with strict adherence to GAAP Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including grants and other restricted funds Manage and continuously improve internal controls, SOPs, and accounting and finance policies Partner with departments and with the CFO/CEO on strategic financial models and forecasts, providing key financial analysis to support success Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred 5+ years of experience in nonprofit environments, including grant and fund accounting Experience with multiple ERP systems Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail and knowledge of GAAP controls and standards Seniority level
