Accounting Manager

Our client in Tampa, FL is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team! Duties/Responsibilities: Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee multiple areas of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development. Foster growth within the accounting team, ensuring alignment across functions and driving operational excellence. Collaborate with accounting leadership to design and implement initiatives that improve financial workflows and operational performance. Evaluate and enhance current accounting practices by applying industry benchmarks and strategic insights. Provide technical accounting support, through research as necessary, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Develop and document account processes and internal controls. Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Perform financial consolidations. Lead the annual financial audit process and coordinate audit deliverables. All other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and aptitude for ERP systems including NetSuite Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of experience in an accounting role Experience in a Managerial Accounting role Ability to work collaboratively with personnel at various branches CPA/CMA/CGMA required Large ERP experience Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
