Substance Abuse Counselor
to join our team at the
Middlesex County Department of Corrections
located in
North Brunswick, NJ.

*This is a Contract position until September 30, 2021 with possibility of extension.
*This position works 8 hours per week* with a preference for Counselors who can provide availability for one 8-hour shift on a weekday or two 4-hours shifts

Position Details
Conduct weekly group substance abuse counseling sessions for male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder
Provide psychoeducation about substance abuse to male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder
Data collection and data entry
Experience working in corrections is a plus, but not required

Degree/Certification Qualifications: Minimum of Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with license (LAC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) required, but LCADC preferred
