The Substance Abuse Counselor/Counselor Intern
works as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment services necessary to support recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Responsibilities
Completes admissions for all new patients. Enters all new patients into NJSAMS. Provides individual and group counseling. Completes assessment of each patient using approved assessment tools. Develops a comprehensive treatment plan. Documents patient progress in the electronic health record. Facilitates the transition/discharge process, including arrangements for follow-up services. Requirements
Candidate must have BA/BS in behavioral health or related field, CADC, LCADC, LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW preferred. Benefits
