EXECUTIVE CHEF II role at Morrison Living. An inspirational and organized leader who oversees daily kitchen operations including recruiting, training, and food preparation. The Executive Chef showcases culinary talents through personal involvement and develops onsite staff while improving resident, employee, and client satisfaction and maximizing financial performance. Responsibilities include achieving monthly budgets and enforcing safe handling of food by following safety and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities

Lead daily culinary production in preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring food quality, safety, sanitation, team productivity, cost controls, and overall profitability. Determine food presentation and create decorative displays; provide direction on menu development and seasonal specials. Source fresh ingredients, monitor produce and meat freshness, and maintain product consistency through inspections of seasonings, portions, and appearance. Prepare and cook foods as needed and demonstrate new techniques and equipment to staff. Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff; ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health and sanitation standards. Provide guidance to subordinates, set performance standards, monitor performance, and communicate safety procedures. Monitor quality of raw and cooked foods and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain purchasing, receiving, and storage standards. Participate in the development and execution of business strategies aligned with client goals; manage department controllable expenses (food cost, supplies, uniforms, equipment) and inventory. Develop, implement, and manage the department budget; forecast, monitor, and control labor and food costs; identify revenue and expense opportunities. Schedule staff based on forecasted volumes and ensure exceptional customer service; empower employees to deliver genuine hospitality and high service standards. Lead team meetings, set goals (performance, budget, team), and foster an open-door policy to address employee concerns and engagement. Qualifications

AS degree or equivalent experience; minimum 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience (depending on degree/training). Extensive catering experience; high-volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable. Hands-on chef with institutional and batch cooking experience; strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and presentation. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet). ServSafe certification is highly desirable. Benefits and Apply
