Kitchen Manager ! The Kitchen Manager will oversee all kitchen operations at our JustFoodForDogs Kitchen in Petco. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, organization, and time-management skills. They will ensure critical control points are maintained by implementing corrective measures during food prep. The role involves leading and working with kitchen staff: cooks, mixers, packagers, and rovers. This position reports to the store General Manager. A passion for food, dogs, and cats is essential! Key Responsibilities Oversee overall back-of-house operations Train and develop staff on food prep and safety standards Assist in hiring, onboarding, and managing staff schedules Ensure food quality, quantity, and timing standards are met Manage inventory, ensuring safety and cleanliness compliance Maintain proper food temperatures and preparation standards Manage departments: cooks, mixers, packagers, rovers, actively participating in their functions Serve as a role model, embodying company values and culture Assist with shift clean-up and end-of-day procedures Qualifications Leadership experience and skills Kitchen management experience Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment Accuracy and efficiency in tasks Strong organizational skills ServSafe certification preferred Open availability required to meet business needs.
