LHH is working with a large real estate firm in the Dallas area that is adding a new Property Accountant to their growing team. This is a full-cycle/month-end close role where candidates will post journal entries and accruals, prepare financial statements, and perform reconciliations among other duties. The company is in the residential space and is actively acquiring more properties. At least one year of multi-location accounting experience is preferred. Job Responsibilities
Assist in month-end close and consolidation of entities Maintain schedules and posting entries for amortization of prepaid assets, interest accrual on loans, payroll expense, corporate credit card, and income loss allocation Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and analyze variances Respond to inquiries related to general ledger account balances and transactions/journal entries Assist in preparation of monthly financial reporting package Assist in implementing enhancements to financial systems Assist in the successful completion of external financial audits Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1+ year of experience in a multi-location environment Proficient in Microsoft Office suite How to Apply
