Medica’s Financial Analyst will report to the Segment Director and provide support for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive data-informed decisions across the organization. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including variance analysis and key performance metrics Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Actuarial to ensure financial accuracy and alignment Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations Assist in the evaluation of new products, pricing strategies, and market expansion opportunities Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience in a related field Required:
5+ years of related experience in data analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience is a plus Experience presenting to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner Strong interpersonal and communication skills Analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience Location & Schedule
This position is an on-site role and requires working at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week. Compensation & Benefits
The full salary grade for this position is $68,800 - $118,000. The typical hiring salary range is $68,800 - $103,215. Compensation is influenced by education, experience, and other factors. Medica offers a comprehensive total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services, and additional benefits.
