Position Overview: The Family Office Services (FOS) team provides accounting and CFO services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. CFO Services partners with clients to simplify the complex, provide visibility, and manage day-to-day financial affairs, including consolidated reporting, accounting, client payables, cash flow management, tax coordination, and compliance, with a focus on protecting and preserving wealth. Responsibilities
Onboard new family office clients with the broader team and under the direction of the Director of Accounting and FOS Review family entity structures to assess fees and anticipated work scope Coordinate access with clients for tracked assets, investments, and liabilities Prepare quarterly consolidated net worth reporting, including cash flow reconciliation, private investment activity, committed capital, and personal spend summaries in collaboration with advisory and operations teams Manage entity-level accounting and financial reporting for tax preparation Track and manage private investments Oversee the Accounting Clerk in maintaining custodial banking, managing fund flows for investments, and facilitating client payables Oversee document management with designated admin support Manage annual internal audits to ensure compliance with SEC custody rules as impacted by client payables Provide accounting oversight for internal private funds and their outsourced accounting administrators Coordinate production and delivery of capital statements and tax documentation for internal private funds Communicate with clients on a recurring basis regarding the status of financial activities Collaborate with investment advisors and operations teams on account performance and global asset reporting Partner with tax advisors and CPA firms to support tax return preparation and adherence to deadlines for both clients and private funds Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in a Private Wealth or Family Office environment working with HNW/UHNW clients Public accounting and/or professional services background, with tax experience in partnership and/or fund accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Experience with private fund accounting and administration is preferred Experience managing accounting and financial transactions for family entities (trusts, LLCs, family limited partnerships, etc.); familiarity with multi-family office structures and complex family office operations is a strong plus Knowledge of private capital and alternative investment operations is a plus High proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with Salesforce, Addepar, and Arch preferred (training provided if not already familiar) Excellent communication and listening skills; client-first mindset; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate client needs Collaborative, able to leverage internal and external resources to create value Why Work for Us?
