Overview
Step into a corporate accounting role with broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, insurance, and consolidations. This Accounting Manager position sits at the corporate level of a $1B+ private equity–backed manufacturing company and offers the chance to work directly with approachable leadership while gaining visibility across the organization. You’ll report to a respected leader who takes a mentorship-driven approach, providing guidance while empowering you to grow. This is an ideal role for a Senior Accountant ready for the next step or an established Accounting Manager looking for a broader corporate platform. What You’ll Do
Own key parts of the month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, intercompany accounting, and consolidations. Lead preparation of internal/external financial statements and investor reporting packages. Support technical accounting topics such as lease accounting (ASC 842). Manage corporate allocations (IT, Legal, HR, etc.) and oversee insurance accounting (medical, workers comp, liability). Assist with annual financial statements and footnote disclosures. Partner with leadership on process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and efficiency. Gain exposure to executive leadership and private equity investors. What We’re Looking For
5–10 years of accounting experience (public accounting, public/private mix, or industry). Strong technical accounting foundation (CPA or MBA preferred). Hands-on experience with reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting. Ability to partner with leadership, explain complex accounting issues, and drive process improvements. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. Why This Role Stands Out
