Because of growth and increased financial complexity, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team, ensure strong controls, and support scalable financial systems. As the

Accounting Manager , you will lead and oversee all accounting functions, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, drive process improvements, and support the broader finance and operational leadership with timely, accurate insight. You’ll manage a small team (or outsource relationships) and collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, HR, and executive leadership to support continued growth, compliance, and scalability. Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close : Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations); Prepare timely financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) and variance analyses; Oversee general ledger integrity, chart of accounts maintenance, and accounting policies Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis : Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasts; partner with operations to drive alignment; Analyze financial trends, margins, department variances, and key performance indicators; Provide business insight and ad hoc financial modeling to support strategic decisions Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Oversight : Manage A/R processes (billing, collections, aging analysis, write-offs); Ensure timely cash positioning, alignment of receivables and payables Internal Controls & Compliance : Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk; Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations; Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; support year-end audit, tax filings Team Management & Process Improvement : Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff (or external partners); Drive process improvements, automation, system enhancements (ERP / accounting software) Cross-functional Collaboration & Strategic Support : Partner with clinical operations, HR, procurement, and executive leadership; Support new business initiatives, clinic expansions, capital projects, or investments; Provide financial guidance and input in contract negotiations, vendor agreements Qualifications & Skills

Education & Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role Experience in healthcare, wellness, medical practices, or a regulated services environment is a plus Exposure to multi-entity or multi-location operations, cost allocation, and inter-company accounting Technical Skills Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices Proficient in accounting / ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Enterprise, etc.) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), financial modeling ability Comfortable with workflow automation tools, reporting tools, and data analytics Leadership & Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication skills — ability to present financials to non-finance stakeholders Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capability Detail-oriented, analytical, process-driven mindset Ability to handle ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines Additional Information
