$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Accounting Manager (Salary Range: $110,000–120,000 + Bonus) LHH - Fully Onsite in Dallas, TX LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for a landscape/construction services company in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll lead project-based revenue recognition and billing, oversee G&A accounting, and deliver accurate financial reporting while partnering with project managers and the Data/ERP team to uphold compliance, data integrity, and system effectiveness. Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end close, preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and key reconciliations. Partner with project managers and operations to ensure accurate coding, job costing, and financial tracking across projects. Administer GAAP-compliant revenue recognition, including preparing and reviewing percentage-of-completion schedules. Build and audit project billings in Aspire/ERP, confirming alignment with contract terms and change orders. Oversee G&A accounting, including coding, processing, and reconciling payables and related allocations. Reconcile general ledger accounts—revenue, WIP, and other project-related balances—to maintain accurate financials. Produce timely reporting and analyses that highlight project profitability, trends, and cash-flow insights for leadership. Collaborate with the Data Team to optimize Aspire workflows, safeguard data accuracy, and troubleshoot system issues. Maintain thorough documentation and support internal and external audit requests. Identify and drive process improvements and control enhancements within ERP and accounting workflows. Client Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on GAAP revenue recognition and G&A accounting. Proficiency with Aspire or modern ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Solid technical accounting foundation with hands-on project accounting; experience in landscape, construction, or project-based services is highly valued. Analytical, detail-oriented problem solver with strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines. Clear, professional communicator who collaborates effectively across accounting, operations, and data/technology teams; high integrity with confidential information. Experience supporting audits and formal financial reporting processes. Ability to work on-site five days per week in Dallas. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
