A K-12 school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position for the current school year. This role is based in Canton, MI, and offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting.
Responsibilities Include
Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies. Providing counseling and support services to students. Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of educational plans. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies.
Qualifications
Valid School Psychologist certification or license. Experience working within K-12 educational environments. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Knowledge of current educational and psychological practices and interventions.
Location: Canton, MI
This contract position covers the current school year and offers a professional setting within a supportive school community.
