Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist, Day Shift, Outpatient Imaging – Outpatient Imaging, White Oak/Silver Spring, MD. Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Multi-Modality Technologist to support our mission of providing compassionate care across physical, mental, and spiritual health needs. Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging studies. Properly identifies patients, reviews orders, and selects appropriate protocols to maximize quality and safe patient care. Receive patients, explain procedures, and answer questions pertaining to the exam. Perform a variety of special imaging examinations using established or dictated protocols and perform all modalities as needed. Accurately documents in computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS). Reconstructs images and processes films as required. Operates imaging and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Monitors and assists patients before, during, and after examinations; maintain a clean and safe environment. Adheres to ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients. Maintains patient, hospital, and employee confidentiality and provides care to patients across age groups (pediatrics, geriatric, adolescent). Performs quality control and maintains pertinent local, state, and federal records as applicable to different sections. Applies knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care in the office setting. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. 5 years of experience preferred. AART (RT) and (CT) certified, or MRI Certified or Mammo Certified. RDMS and RVT preferred Breast experience. Must have at least one specialty certification in addition to AART. State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license required. Work Schedule & Compensation

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Pay Range: $42.96 – $64.44 per hour (salary discussions may occur if listed as $0 or Per Diem). FLSA: United States of America (Non-Exempt). Benefits
