Outpatient Imaging - Medical Plaza, Rockville, MD. Adventist HealthCare is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging Services. Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. (Current AHC employees are not eligible – see below under additional details.) Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Ultrasound Tech who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound exams as needed. Assumes responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all patients in the sonographic area/department. Establishes protocols in conjunction with the radiologists and ensures staff adherence to them. Initiates cost saving measures with Manager and Director’s approval. Demonstrates ability to integrate diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records, and adapt sonographic examinations as necessary. Coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided. Anticipates patient’s needs and exceeds expectations. Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the attending physician. Maximizes patient throughput and demonstrates teamwork with coworkers by managing patient workload. Reports equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor or staff member and completes associated forms. Follows through on work requested. Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situations. Maintains schedule and prioritizes exams. Uses computer systems (Cerner, Viewpoint, McKesson PACS and RIS) correctly to document patient information. Qualifications

High school or GED required Graduate from Accredited Diagnostic Medical sonography program Minimum 2 years preferred. RDMS with AB and or OB/GYN certification. BR – Breast Ultrasound Certification Preferred RVT preferred Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule

Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm Pay Range

Pay Range:

$37.17 - $55.76 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process. FLSA Classification
