The Revenue Auditor, under the direction of the Revenue Audit Manager, is responsible for the day to day auditing of the slot operations to ensure compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards and the Casino policies, procedures, and standards. The Revenue Auditor will also audit Jackpot related forms and filings, and Title 31 related forms and filings along with the Casinos Title 31 training program.
Responsibilities
Perform audit tasks per the daily audit checklist for assigned audits. Complete weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or other periodic gaming-related audit tasks per the assigned audit checklist. Understand and apply National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards for the related audit areas. Understand and apply the Cahuilla Casino Standard Operating Procedures for the related departments. Notify and communicate with Management of any discrepancies within the day they are identified. Issue and manage issuance, return, and filing of exception reports when discrepancies or violations are identified. Assist with creating departmental audit standards or procedures as needed or assigned. Cross-train and assist as needed in performing each audit. Ensure adherence to Title 31 regulations. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Revenue Audit Manager or Audit Supervisor. Audit Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Slot Audit
Maintain gaming system and machine-related worksheets and database as required by checklists, standards, or procedures. Perform audits of machines and/or meters as required or necessary. Perform audits of jackpot related forms and filings. Perform audits of Title 31 related forms and filings. Calculate slot daily budget for updating daily slot departmental statistical reports. Prepare slot participation worksheets Prepare 3% hold variance worksheets Update slot database as necessary Marketing Audit
Verify Electronic Promotion activity Verify Patron Point activity Verify Marketing Incentives, Vouchers, and Contests Verify and perform player point adjustments as requested by Operations Department Food & Beverage Audit
Update Tip Log Post sales to daily summary Update daily operating reports Prepare month end close reports Cage Audit

Associates degree in Accounting or related field and/or extensive experience and knowledge of gaming revenue, department accounting controls and procedures. Use of 10-key adding machine and computer. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to communicate with others. Must have proven decision-making capabilities, experience in directing others, and planning preferred. Must meet requirements to qualify for a Cahuilla Casino Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background security check. No felony convictions and no serious misdemeanor convictions. Ability to assign responsibilities and coordinate activities to meet objectives in an efficient and timely manner. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
