Senior Revenue & FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional to join our team in a hybrid role that spans technical revenue accounting and strategic financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606, managing and mentoring a team of revenue accountants and billing analysts, and supporting cross-functional FP&A initiatives focused on business insights, ACV metrics, and customer-level analytics. Key Responsibilities Revenue Recognition & Accounting (70%) Oversee day-to-day revenue accounting operations in compliance with ASC 606. Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations and ensure proper revenue allocation and timing. Support automation of SSPs and revenue allocation logic in the ERP (e.g., Sage Intacct). Manage monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Lead and mentor the local revenue accounting and billing team. Drive process improvement in revenue operations and streamline the contract-to-revenue workflow. FP&A and Strategic Analysis (30%) Partner with the FP&A team to support reporting and analysis of SaaS metrics including ACV, churn, downsell, GRR, and NRR. Contribute to monthly forecast updates, budget vs. actual analysis, and financial reporting packages for leadership and investors. Support business reviews with margin analysis, customer cohort performance, and renewal forecasting. Assist in building dashboards and models for real-time customer spend, bookings-to-billings tracking, and DSO reduction initiatives. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and/or FP&A in a SaaS environment. Deep understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue models. Experience with SaaS metrics and recurring revenue analytics (ACV, churn, etc.). Proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members. Advanced Excel and working knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Power BI). Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. Preferred Experience Experience supporting or leading month-end close processes. Exposure to billing systems, deal desk processes, or order-to-cash operations. Prior involvement in system implementations or process automation. Seniority level
