Revenue Cycle Manager for Home Health & Hospice A Hug Away, Inc. is a leading provider of home health and hospice services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Biller to join our team. This role is IN-OFFICE. This role is essential in ensuring accurate billing and efficient collections processes to support our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the billing process for home health and hospice services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations from intake to collections. Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers while working closely with the administrator to maintain and manage office workflow. Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals to ensure timely reimbursement. Maintain accurate records of billing and collections activities, including payment postings and adjustments. Communicate with patients, families, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and coding for billing purposes. Conduct regular audits of billing processes to identify and correct errors. Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and payer requirements. Generate and analyze reports on billing and collections performance. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as needed. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for billing processes. Handle billing through the CMS system and Waystar. Ensure accurate and audit-free management of medical records for insurance purposes. Qualifications:
2 years of experience in home health/hospice billing and collections. Strong knowledge of home health and hospice billing practices and regulations. Proficiency in Kinnser and Waystar as billing and clearinghouse softwares. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing processes. Experience in records management to ensure correct and audit-free medical files. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in medical billing and coding. Experience with specific billing software used in home health and hospice settings such as Kinnser/Wellsky. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Benefits:
