As a Controller within the Commercial Operations (COC) organization, this role plays a key part in supporting financial processes, driving operational efficiency, and partnering with business leaders. The Controller is responsible for coordinating month-end close activities, managing forecasting and budgeting cycles, and leading capital and operational expenditure reviews. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate month-end closing activities for the COC Commercial Operations organization. Prepare and post monthly journal entries and accruals. Lead OPEX cost center analytics, reporting, and monthly forecasting. Assist in preparing presentations for upper management. Lead capital spend reviews and manage capitalization projects. Prepare account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Coordinate and lead Commercial Ops Budget (Blackbook) spending using Khalix. Drive continuous process improvements across financial operations. Serve as a business partner to Commercial Operations leaders, providing financial insights and strategic support. Experiences/Education - Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, or accounting. Advanced understanding of P&L, Cash Flows, and Balance sheet Critical thinking and strong analytical capabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret large datasets into clear, actionable insights. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders. Experience working effectively across time zones and cultures. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Eagerness to learn and adopt digital tools such as Power BI. Experiences/Education - Desired
Working experience with SAP, Khalix or similar budget/forecast tool Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Comfortable challenging assumptions and questioning existing processes. High energy and self-motivation, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $78,039.00 - $107,304.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
