Position Summary The Wealth Advisor seeks to attain their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER accreditation. They will have access to warm leads generated by the firm’s collective marketing efforts and to proprietary marketing and client acquisition methods. In the short term, the role is paid to learn-by-doing all administrative, operational, and business development activities as directed by the Sr. Advisor/Mentor. Once in full-time production, administrative support will be provided. The WA will share in and utilize firm resources to acquire and meet the needs of new clients and maintain high-quality service for existing clients. The person is expected to provide detailed guidance to clients on personal and business financial affairs, including asset accumulation and protection, income strategies, investments, life insurance, retirement plans, and real property. The WA will be responsible for managing five key areas of their practice:

Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development and Marketing
Organize and co-host various evening company events promoting the firm’s services.
Network and build relationships with prospective clients with the goal of becoming their advisor.
Conduct outbound calls to warm prospects and leads.
Implement marketing campaigns, perform general operational duties, and other assignments as needed.
Brainstorm new business-generating activities and operationalize ideas to full implementation.
Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, prospects, or strategic business relationships.
Present financial strategies clearly to prospects to encourage engagement.
Learn and implement the firm’s financial planning process.
Refine presentation tools using financial planning and investment advisory software.
Communicate investment and financial planning capabilities to prospective and current clients.
Oversee and assist with new business and ongoing service requests and tasks.
Learn to scale duties and services without compromising service quality.

Preferred Qualifications
College degree or equivalent required.
5 years of sales experience required.
5 years of financial services experience (investment, annuity, life products) preferred.
1 year experience with a FINRA or SEC-regulated firm required.
Willingness to obtain Series 65/66. Life/Health licenses preferred. CFP or ChFC designation a strong plus.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and general technology.
Ability to pass initial and ongoing drug screens.
