Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, with extensive knowledge in POC Accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Experience working at a national accounting firm, demonstrating a strong foundation in auditing, financial reporting, and compliance.
Actively licensed CPA with a deep understanding of US GAAP and strong technical accounting knowledge, including revenue recognition, WIP accounting, POC, and GAAP accrual-based transitions.
Proven experience in Private Equity-owned businesses, M&A, and Sage ERP systems; SageIntacct experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting ability to ensure accurate percentage of completion (POC) accounting and look back analytics.
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analytics, with an ability to develop creative solutions
Ability to hit deadlines, communicate effectively, and lead monthly financial reviews with ELT and P&L owners.
Experience overseeing year-end audits, SOX compliance, and cash flow management, including A/R, A/P, and payroll.
