We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a remote, rapidly growing CPA firm. The role focuses on federal and state tax, tax planning, and tax review, with the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals. The position involves managing 1040 individual returns, 1120S, and estate and trust returns, and offers a true path to partnership. Base pay range

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates. Providing tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base, including high net worth individuals. Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients. Assisting with internal tax operations and process improvements. Managing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their tax compliance and providing tailored advice to meet their specific needs. Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support. Staying updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law. Providing leadership and support to junior staff, fostering a positive work environment. Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of tax accounting experience. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A CPA license is preferred. Proficiency in federal and state tax, tax planning, and tax review. Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing 1040 individual returns, 1120S, and estate and trust returns. Experience in working with high net worth individuals. Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations. Excellent research and interpretation skills regarding tax laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Benefits
