Genetic Counselor Assistant - Pediatrics is a staff, full-time position in the M4000:Pediatrics Clinic located in Lexington, KY. The salary range is $19.00-$30.09/hour.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized support to the genetic counselors and contribute to the management of diverse aspects of the genetics service.
Coordinate patient care and optimize clinic and operational workflows to create a patient-centered environment.
Obtain family histories, triage referrals, collect relevant medical records, and obtain previous genetic testing records when appropriate.
Coordinate care with testing laboratories and assist with administrative duties within the department.
